Cádiz is located on a peninsula and has among the most beautiful beaches in Spain. Unlike Costa del Sol, the beaches are not over crowded. The water is of course a bit colder than in the Costa del Sol since Cádiz is located by the Atlantic coast.

Cádiz is one of the oldest continously inhabited cities in Europe, and is full of history. Cádiz is divided into the old city and the new city. Among the most interesting sights are the cathedral, the Roman Theathre, Plaza de Mina and the Tavira tower.

Cádiz is home to the largest carnival in the Spainsh mainland, which is one of the best in the world.
